We had a lot of fun surfing with Tiago. He helped us all very well to catch some waves. A private lesson with Tiago is much better than a lesson with a surf school on the beach, Tiago keeps the groups very small so everyone gets a lot of chances to surf.

My girlfriend and I loved this first surf session, we were a little nervous about getting on a surfboard for the first time but Tiago was able to put us at ease, he took the necessary time to do a complete warm-up and give us the basics of surfing. Once in the water, he was able to give us the necessary advice, I was able to surf several waves thanks to him. The 2 hours went by very quickly, we had so much fun. If you are around Porto and looking for an excellent surf teacher, Tiago is the one for you!

The surfing lesson with Tiago was the best part about our trip. He was so well prepared and took so much time explaining. All three of us were beginners, but felt safe and like we could conquer the world on our boards. We watched other surfing schools who spent less time on warm up and were much bigger groups. We felt like Tiago could pay much more attention to us and at the end of the lesson we really learned to stand up, unlike the surfing students from the other groups. I would definitely recommend Tiagos Surfing Experience!

Lovely little beach to practice your surfing skills on. I'm a complete beginner and it was great to have full Tiago's attention as opposed to some surfing schools that will put you in a big group. Remember flip flops for the walk from the changing station. After your class I would recommend to walk down the beach promenade to enjoy the views and the atmosphere.

We had never surfed before and Tiago was a really nice teacher! He supported and took care of us while we were following his advices to surf better. We did a warm up and then he taught us the technique on the sand. He provided us with surf suits and the surfboards. It was an unforgettable experience.

It was an amazing experience. Tiago is an experienced teacher, life guard and professional surfer. Even though it was foggy in the morning and I was a little nervous about it trying surfing first time in my life, Tiago took very good care of 2 of us and was checking thag everything is safe. I certainly recommend Tiago to anyone who wants to spend a good journey learning or improving his surfing skills. We had to learn from scratch, and I don’t think someone could do it as much as Tiago did in a very short amount of time. Just don’t think about it, book asap and you won’t regret it ))

The lesson was perfect! Tiago is a great surf coach, very responsible and caring about the safety of the students. We were on the different levels and he was adjusting the coaching perfectly and giving us tailored tips for our progress. He was correcting the mistakes and encouraging us to learn more. Surfing with Tiago is definitely an amazing experience to have while you are in Porto! It's only organized in a small group (two in my case) so you can definitely have very personal instruction from him. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a bit more of the Porto beach!

What a outstanding experience I’ve ever had! Even though it was a Christmas holiday, Tiago made a time for us. Tiago greeted us warmly and taught us how to surf. Best of all, because it was a small group, I was able to ride the wave several times. Tiago kept pushing our boards so that we could continue surfing. He was a warm and friendly person and he told us a lot about surfing and about Portugal. I have already fell in love with Porto, but this experience has made me love Porto even more. I would strongly recommend this class to everyone.

As a family with 3 teenagers Tiago taught us the start from surfing on the waves of Porto. It was learning and fun at the same time. Time flew. The kids were so enthousiast, so the next day they had an other morning surf lessons from Tiago. Tiago explains well all the steps. He works with two surfboards, so his attention is always with the one catching the wave.

Tiago was a great teacher. 1. quick responses 2. very accommodating. He was able to switch times of the lessons on short notice 3. very encouraging. This was my first time surfing and he was able to motivate me despite my shortcomings 4. very good price. As we were walking along the beach there were other schools that were offering lessons 50 Euro +.

Tiago was quite flexible in scheduling the class. My class was scheduled very last minute. It was my second surf class ever and he has been very patient in saying every time what the problem was and very helpful in highlighting the problems.
